All our Roman Blinds are fully lined and are supplied complete with headrail, brackets and hanging instructions.
Our 'premier' headrail is a fully enclosed system with a sidewinder mechanism. A pulley chain is used to operate the blind.
You are also able to choose your lining from our standard lining which is a high quality 50% cotton, 50% polyester satin twill lining to resist creases, blackout or thermal lining.
Our Made to Measure Online Ordering Service for Roman Blinds consists of:-
- Roman Blinds made to your size and specification
- A choice of linings
- A choice of position for your pulley chain, either left or right hand side
- A choice of colour for your pulley chain, either silver (metal) or white (plastic)
If a blind requires more than one width of fabric, the blind will be made with a full central panel and a smaller pattern matched panel at either side, this will usually be required for blinds wider than 127cm.
Warning: Chains that operate Roman Blinds can be dangerous to children. To avoid strangulation and entanglement, please keep chains out of reach from young children and move cots, beds and furniture away from windows.
In order to comply with Health & Safety Regulation (BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014), when you order your Roman Blind from The Curtain Place you will be asked to input the installation height, (the measurement from the top of the blind to the floor), this will ensure that the chain is no less than 150cm from the floor. Please comply with the fitting instructions that are supplied with your Roman Blind including use of the included safety catch.
